Chuck Johnson Interview- Stunts, Action Cinema, & Martial Arts: East vs. West Part 1
Just uploaded Part 1 of an interview that was done of me for The Michigan Martial Arts Project, and was filmed the last time I went back to Michigan to see my family. In the interview, I am discussing some of the differences I observed between action cinema, martial arts, and stunt work in Asia and in the states, and we actually filmed it in my parents' home. In general, I always love doing interviews, but it's also a bit nerve-racking because you have to think and answer questions on your feet, and afterwards you always end up wondering if you said the things you really wanted to say, or if you said them in the correct light. Anyway, once I had a chance to check it out, I was fairly pleased with how it turned out.
Here it is, if you'd like to check it out yourself!
